Kevin Fowler: Jack and I go way back... I've loved his music ever since I was playing in a rock n roll band... the original title to Beer, Bait and Ammo was Jack Ingram, Beer, Bait and Ammo and more Jack Ingram... Jack told me that I should shorten the title... then he told me that I went a little too far with the shortening of the title... then we got a cold beer and he told me that he thought I was 100% Texan... the rest is history! Thank you, Jack Ingram!!

All of a sudden you've got a record. It just so happened that it struck a chord with people because it was real; it wasn't a demo but a record. So I started going out and selling them.
